Hostos Community College [Bronx, Ny]

An article past times David Gonzalez of The New York Times on September 28, 2014 covered a birthday reception honoring Ramon J. Jimenez for his efforts inwards the mid-1970's inwards back upward of Hostos Community College.  Jimenez in addition to others organized successful opposition to a proposed merger of the institution.  Their efforts helped pave the agency for Hostos to hold equally a bilingual institution.

Eugenio María de Hostos Community College was founded inwards 1968 in addition to is directly business office of The City University of New York (CUNY) system.  Hostos currently serves over 7,000 students.
